  • Internal investigations regarding economic sanctions, export controls, cartel law and anti-corruption.
  • Birch Hill Equity Partners and Torquest Partners in connection with the acquisition by Terrapure Environmental, a Birch Hill portfolio company, of the Canadian industrial services and waste management operations of Envirosystems Incorporated, a Torquest portfolio company.
  • Ballard Power Systems in its historic strategic collaboration with Weichai Power, which includes a US$163M equity investment in Ballard by Weichai, a US$20M equity investment in Ballard by Broad-Ocean (an existing Ballard strategic shareholder) and the establishment of a 50-50 joint venture between Ballard and Weichai that will undertake a US$90M program with Ballard to develop next-generation liquid-cooled PEM fuel cells for heavy-duty motive applications (buses, trucks & forklifts).
